BBDO names new GM in Japan

A new general manager has been appointed at BBDO Japan, with Shuhei Isikawa appointed to the role.

He will provide support to senior business leaders and help with the transformation of the agency’s services.

The announcement:

BBDO Japan has promoted Shuhei Isikawa to the position of General Manager. This appointment will see him act as support to Chief Executive, Tony Harris and Managing Director, Hal Ito.

Ishikawa is a long-time member of the I&S BBDO Group, having started his career with Proximity Japan. He had previously been the Head of Engagement Planning and has helped spearhead the Agency’s ever-expanding role in new communication channels for clients such as Starbucks, Mars, Fitbit and Visa. His new role will see him extend this responsibility supporting Harris in the transformation of BBDO Japan’s offering.

Launched in July 2015, BBDO Japan currently looks after clients such as MARS, Johnson & Johnson, Visa and New Balance, amongst others. It recently won the Spectre product launch for HP in Japan, as well.
