He will relocate from Sydney to Singapore where he will take charge of strategy and planning and drive Gyro’s digital strategy across Singapore, Hong Kong and Australia.

Managing director of Gyro APAC, Kieran Vye, said: “We are delighted to bring Rhys into gyro as the Head of Strategy. He’s a dynamic B2B leader and is highly respected in the industry. He has a great diversity of experience across industry sectors and the full scope of integrated marketing services from data and digital to channel and CRM and more.”

Meanwhile, Ikon Communications account director Tim Micallef will join  the agency as Australia and New Zealand as media business director.

“As the Pacific markets are forecast to pick up steadily on ad spend, we want to ensure we’re at the forefront with our media offerings,” Vye said.
