Dentsu India creates ‘saucy’ campaign for Top Ramen noodles

Dentsu India has played on the word ‘saucy’ in a new campaign for Top Ramen that sees a woman eating noodles in a suggestive way.

The work, to promote the brand’s curry noodles, carries the tagline ‘eat saucy style’ and will run on TV and digital channels.

“The retro theme, the quirky music and the cheeky word play makes the film very catchy and interesting,” the agency said.

Nissin India Foods marketing director Ryusuke Miyake said: “Top Ramen curry and chicken curry with its evolved taste and texture – saucy and slurpy flat noodles – is perfectly suited for adult consumers. Hence the showcase of playful grown-ups enjoying their noodles in a new style, and hence the tagline – “Eat Saucy Style.”

Dentsu India executive vice president Samrat Chengapa added: ““A few funny jokes, watching a 70s flick, a great tasting saucy noodle and a client with a sense of humour. Voila!”
