Eight agencies vying for creative duties for Health Promotion Board

A total of eight creative agencies are vying for the mainstream, digital and experiential marketing for the Health Promotion Board.

DDB Worldwide, Grey Group, Havas Worldwide Singapore, J Walter Thompson, Ogilvy Singapore, Publicis Singapore, TBWA Singapore and Three60 Degrees Consulting have all submitted bids according to Gebiz.

The government agency called a pitch at the end of August.

It is searching for a strategic brand lead with responsibility for large scale and priority campaigns and a creative production specialist to handle “high volume fast turnaround” digital work in addition to ad hoc below-the-line assets.

Meanwhile, the experiential specialist will focus on campaigns targeting the youth and young parents and take responsibility for on-the-ground activation and outreach programs.

Publicis Singapore is the incumbent having won the creative account in early 2016, along with Tribal Worldwide, and a “panel of creative agencies”.

HPB said it has a “tentative” appointment date of February with the contract running until March 2022 with an option to extend for up to two years.

The agency said in an earlier statement: “The appointed agency partners will play a strategic role in HPB’s ongoing efforts to effect mindset and behavioural change among Singaporeans, providing it with creative solutions for enabling various health promotion messages to resonate well with the intended audiences.”
