Publicis Media aligns its EMEA and APAC trading practice under Andy Carter

Andy Carter has been promoted as head of Publicis Media Exchange, Europe, Middle East and Africa and Asia Pacific.

Carter who was previously responsible for only the Asia Pacific region has been given the additional mandate of EMEA. The move will see him relocate to London.

Publicis Media today announced the promotion of Andy Carter to head of Publicis Media Exchange (PMX), EMEA & APAC. PMX is the central investment practice for Publicis Media, which drives smart application of investment by leveraging scale, marketplace innovation and strength in partnerships and intelligence.

Carter adds the responsibility for EMEA to his Asia Pacific duties in a move that follows the new, simplified leadership structure announced by the business in April this year.

Reporting to Gerry Boyle, CEO of Publicis Media EMEA & APAC and to Dave Penski, Global CEO of PMX, Carter will be responsible for PMX strategy, product development, client delivery and business development for all markets outside of the Americas.

Carter joined Publicis Media Asia Pacific in January 2016, and quickly delivered an exceptional trading practice in the region with a reputation founded on Publicis Media’s core three tenets of trust, talent and transformation.
