Singapore’s largest sequential LED billboard created for Martell cognac

At 50 metres by 11 metres, a size equal to two tennis courts, SPHMBO has unveiled Singapore’s largest sequential LED-lit billboard. Located at Scott’s Square, the L-shaped billboard advertises Martell VSOP, a premium cognac brand. It’s positioned to offer long-distance visibility to heavy pedestrian and vehicular traffic, targeting consumers aged between 25 and 40 years old.

Martell teamed up with SPHMBO, the outdoor media arm of Singapore Press Holdings to transform a large-format static billboard into a creative out-of-home showcase complete with sequential LED modules and a 3D build of its new product. The campaign for Martell is handled by Ogilvy and Mindshare.

Julie Wee the product development director at SPHMBO said: “We are excited to partner with Martell on this landmark display which gives powerful creative treatment to a strategically-placed outdoor site. We will continue to focus efforts on tailoring our solutions to create enhanced impressions and help build brands of the future.”

Aaron Yang the group brand manager of Pernod Ricard Singapore said: “The ground-breaking execution manages to capture the essence of modernity that Martell VSOP Aged in Red Barrels was meant to convey.”
