Skyscanner selects Text100 to drive Singapore growth
PR agency Text100 will turn to influencers in a bid to expand Skyscanner’s footprint in Singapore after winning a competitive pitch to handle the flight search engine’s communications.
The appointment came as Skyscanner said it has reduced silos within the business in a bid to position itself for growth.
Under the partnership, Text100 will look to promote the travel website across earned and owned channels. An influencer engagement ambassador programme will form part of the plan, the agency said.
“We are always looking for inspiring and meaningful work, and Skyscanner is a brand we are very excited to partner with,” Text100 Singapore managing consultant Mabel Chiang said. “Technology is transforming the way we travel and Skyscanner is a core enabler of that transformation in its sector.
“We look forward to embarking on this journey of growth with Skyscanner to drive a stronger brand voice that speaks to all passionate travellers, ultimately raising Skyscanner’s travel game in Singapore.”
Skyscanner PR lead Niki Torres said: “Since Skyscanner moved away from the traditional way of operating in silos and restructured into an organisation that’s aligned for growth, it was crucial that we partner with a team that understands the way we work.
“We found the perfect partner in Text100. They understand technology, the industry, and are comfortable combining storytelling with data-driven insights.”
