New agency player in the Singapore market VCCP has hired experienced executive Lesley John as regional head of client services.

She will lead the agency’s client relationships and drive business growth, the agency told Mumbrella.

John was most previously managing director for Asia at video production firm Genero. Her previous experience includes 14 years of client management across agencies like M&C Saatchi, BBH and Arcade.

John has held a number of global, regional and local roles where she has worked on accounts like Coca-Cola, Heineken, Johnnie Walker and Levi’s.

Speaking about the new assignment, John said: VCCP’s core principles really resonated with me, and they have a fantastic track record of providing marketers with challenger solutions at scale.

“I am also delighted to be working alongside Craig Mapleston at this exciting time in the agency’s genesis.”

VCCP’s APAC regional director Craig Mapleston added:Lesley is the ideal addition for VCCP Singapore.

“She’s a broad thinker who appreciates the importance of big ideas and integration. She has brilliant experience in leading teams that navigate complexities and uncertain paths.

“Most importantly, she is great at identifying and nurturing talent. All of which will be critical to our success at VCCP Singapore.
