Campaigns and Grey’s new ad for Pantene stars transgender beauty queen

The Philippines-based  ad agency Campaigns and Grey has created a new film for P&G’s Pantene as part of its #StrongerNow campaign, starring transgender beauty queen Kevin Balot. While being among the most accepting countries when it comes to a diverse gender spectrum, continuing discrimination against members of the LGBT community forms the backdrop of the film.

Pantene brand manager, Jan Ang added: “The brand’s #StrongerNow campaign speaks to a broad audience by advocating turning struggles into strengths — regardless of gender.”
