Karim Temsamani, president of Asia-Pacific for Google, has left the company.  Temsamani moved to Singapore from Australia to head the company’s Asia-Pacific operations in 2013.

Temsamani told Mumbrella: “I am going to take some time off first with the family and will announce my future plans in due course.”

Before joining Google in 2007, Temsamani was Fairfax’s commercial and group magazine director for five years, having joined the publisher in 2002 from Time Inc.

A Google spokesperson said: “We can confirm that after 11 years, Karim has decided to leave Google to take on a new challenge.”
