Regan Baillie moves to MediaCom from GroupM

Regan Baillie has joined MediaCom as chief business development and marketing officer for Asia-Pacific.

Baillie was most recently chief digital officer at GroupM Singapore. She has has previously worked at Xaxis and [m]Platform. Her brief is to lead major pitches and explore opportunities for new business.

MediaCom has today announced the appointment of Regan Baillie as Chief Business Development and Marketing Officer APAC, formally Chief Digital Officer at GroupM Singapore.

A familiar figure to many within MediaCom, Baillie began her journey with GroupM in 2015 as Managing Director of Xaxis & [m]Platform and has since risen to become an established member within the group. Previously and most recently as Chief Digital Officer at GroupM Singapore, she led digital, data and platforms across Xaxis & [m]Platform and also drove the digital development of GroupM Singapore to ensure its position as the industry leader.

With an impressive career spanning more than 20 years, Baillie began her career as a media planner/ buyer before moving into digital media and then business development & commercial management roles throughout Singapore and London.

Moving forward, Baillie’s focus will be to develop a stronger culture of prospecting, lead major pitches and support market growth opportunities. Baillie will also partner with Bebhinn Carey, recently promoted Communications Director APAC, to elevate MediaCom’s profile and positioning internally and externally.

Baillie will join the MediaCom APAC leadership team (ExCo) and is also the latest hire in a series of key C-level appointments for the agency in the last 3 months including those of Paul Waller, Chief Investment Officer and Josh Gallagher, Chief Product Officer.

Baillie’s tenure is effective immediately and will see her report directly into Mark Heap, CEO MediaCom APAC.
