BBH Singapore hires Jacob Wright as chief strategy officer

Jacob Wright is the new chief strategy officer at BBH Singapore. He was most recently social media director at Droga5 in the UK.

Wright has worked in senior strategy roles at agencies like VCCP and Mother. This marks his return to BBH after almost a decade.

The announcement:

BBH Singapore announces the appointment of Jacob Wright as Chief Strategy Officer.

An ex-BBHer in both London and Singapore, Jacob rejoins the agency from Droga5 London.

Prior to this, he has held a variety of senior strategy roles in the UK from Head of Planning of VCCP’s content and social division, to Strategy Director at Mother as well as working client side for two tech start-ups.

A reputed creative strategist as well as a social media and tech expert, Jacob has laid the strategic foundations for many significant, award-winning campaigns for major brands from Uniqlo and Gucci to Barclays, IKEA and Coca Cola.

Reporting to John Hadfield, CEO of BBH Singapore, Jacob will be responsible for the full breadth of the strategic offer from the agency.

Commenting on the appointment, John Hadfield said: “I am really excited to be welcoming Jacob back to BBH. He was an excellent planner when he left us eight years ago, and he’s since been able to add new experience and some deep specialist understanding that will be invaluable to the agency and to our clients.”
