Apple’s ‘Behind the Mac campaign’ for Japan profiles creatively inclined students

Apple has created a new campaign for its Mac range of products – for the Japanese market.

The films continue the global ‘Behind the Mac’ campaign, which focused on creators and innovators who work on Apple computers.

Apart from the main broadcast commercial, there are four digital films devoted to Japanese college students involved in a range of atypical creative endeavours.

These include Fuma Higashide a developer of easy-to-use robotics; Shoko Ryuzaki who created social hotels to connect visitors with local people and cultures; treehouse designer Shino Inagaki and Mom, a student involved in music creation.

The campaign has been timed to coincide with students returning to their schools for the academic year.
