Cream Communications gets gritty in new commercial for Tiger Street Football

Cambodia’s Cream Communications group has developed a new campaign for Tiger Street Football competition, the country’s largest outdoor sporting event.

This is the seventh campaign that the agency has created for the competition. The commercial celebrates masculinity and football and doubles up as a call for action, inviting people to participate.

Speaking about the campaign, Cream CEO Brenden Arnold said: “Having grown to nine cities across Cambodia in the past seven years, the Tiger Street Football experience is the perfect platform to engage Cambodia’s football loving youth.

“We actively chose to avoid showing the usual hero moments of football play which are becoming increasingly clichéd.

“Instead, we decided on a grittier, more urbane storyline to create anticipation and drive enrolment to participate in the competition, both on and off the pitch and in the trade.”

The multimedia campaign will play out over television, outdoor and print, with digital will be deployed for calls to entry, real time match updates and gamification.
