MightyHive starts Tokyo office currently led by co-founder Christopher Martin

Programmatic platform MightyHive has started operations in Tokyo, Japan.

MightyHive co-founder and chief operating officer and S4 Capital board member Christopher Martin has relocated to Tokyo to lead the Japan office, while searching for a strong country head.

Speaking about the launch in Tokyo, Martin said: “Programmatic and digital marketing disruption has barely scratched the surface in the world’s third-largest economy and 2019 will be the tipping point for the major marketing platforms.

“We expect adoption and integration with agencies and brands to greatly accelerate.

“MightyHive is excited to establish our presence at time when marketers in Japan are looking to incorporate data and technology in the way they approach customers.”

According to MightyHive, the Tokyo location will allow it to extend the sales and service of its integrated programmatic buying and analytics approach into Japan.

The company aims to have 25 full time employees in its Tokyo office by the end of the year. MightyHive’s other offices in the Asia-Pacific region include Singapore, Sydney and Auckland.
