Digitas wins social media business for German firm Miele

Digital specialist agency Digitas has won the account for German appliance maker Miele. 

The assignment focuses on improving engagement and customer experience via social media.

The announcement:

Digitas, the Connected Marketing Agency, part of Publicis Groupe, recently won a hard fought pitch for the high-end, German appliance manufacturer, Miele, in mainland China.   Digitas will focus on improving the customer’s experience and engagement with the brand through the lens of social media.

Sharon Ho, Managing Director of Digitas, China, commented on the win: “It took a team effort to win this highly competitive pitch.  In the end it came down to our ability to find unique consumer insights blended with our technical capabilities, to demonstrate how we can help Miele engage with its consumers in creative and new ways .  We are thrilled to work with Miele in China and I’m already anticipating the great work that we can create together for the China market”.
