Cadreon hires Lani Jamieson as head of Singapore

Adtech specialist Cadreon, a part of IPG Mediabrands has appointed Lani Jamieson who will head the Singapore office. Jamieson moves from Dentsu Aegis Network digital media agency DWA where she was head of digital media.

Paras Mehta has been appointed as business head of Cadreon India. He was most recently head of ad operations at Viacom 18. In addition, Carolina Jung has joined as the Cadreon regional team as client partner for Asia-Pacific; Marrah Africa joins the newly created role as associate director, learning and development Cadreon APAC and Maggie Woo is now associate director, product marketing and support.

Cadreon, the Ad Tech specialist unit within IPG Mediabrands, has announced a number of senior appointments to newly created leadership roles across APAC signaling the growth and penetration of their programmatic technology solutions.

Lani Jamieson, formerly head of digital media at DWA, Dentsu Aegis Network, and Programmatic Director Omnicom Media Group has been appointed to the position of head of Cadreon Singapore, reporting to CEO IPG Mediabrands Singapore David Haddad, “The introduction of this role is a pivotal juncture in our strategy of investing in this critical area of our business to service our clients’ needs. Cadreon has been a huge growth driver in Singapore; and we have reached the point where it requires that next level of leadership to build on our strategic plans for the future.”

Haddad continues, “In Lani we have found the right mix of skills, experience and attitude to elevate Cadreon to next level, and support Yean in maintaining a strong hub team to service global as well as local clients.”

Paras Mehta has been appointed to the position of business head of Cadreon India. A seasoned and passionate digital advertising professional, Mehta was a part of the startup team of Interactive Avenues in 2006, post which he gained rich experience on the publisher side with Admagnet and most recently with Viacom 18’s Voot. “Having known Paras for close to 19 years I can say that he is a great combination of a curious mind and meticulous execution”, said Amardeep Singh, CEO, IPG Mediabrands – a Reprise network company.

Yean Cheong, head of Cadreon APAC has expanded her regional leadership team with the creation of three new roles; APAC client partner, associate director learning and development, and associate director product marketing and support.

Carolina Jung joins the Cadreon regional team as APAC client partner with a focus on providing senior level leadership for building and delivering innovative client-led solutions. Previously Vice President, Growth & Innovation Cadreon Canada, Jung was first introduced to the APAC team via Cadreon’s internal mobility program, testament to Cadreon’s philosophy towards talent retention and opportunity.

Marrah Africa joins as associate director, learning & development Cadreon APAC. This newly created role will be responsible for driving the proliferation of programmatic knowledge,

including the upskilling/cross-training of internal stakeholders, and ongoing education of key external stakeholders such as clients and partners. From her previous role at MediaMath, a key platform partner of Cadreon, Africa brings a wealth of valuable L&D experience with an in-depth programmatic knowledge.

Maggie Woo has been appointed associate director, product marketing & support; responsible for driving fully integrated go-to-market strategies that encompasses all facets of product launch from marketing, communications, sales enablement, training and education. As a prior Platform Marketing Manager, Singapore & Malaysia for eBay, Woo brings a strong knowledge and understanding of the marketing technology landscape, with specialised experience in programmatic, digital media, ad tech, and martech.

A growing region, Cadreon APAC now comprises more than 160 team members with footprint across 13 markets. Yean Cheong, head of Cadreon APAC commented, “Asia Pacific continues to be a diverse and robust growth region for digital and programmatic year on year.” Cheong continues, “We have expanded our regional team to empower our local Cadreon leaders across APAC to champion the tradecraft in their markets, and spearhead thought leadership geared towards achieving their clients’ goals.”

All five noted leadership appointments are effective immediately.
