Justin Peyton moves from Digitas to Wunderman Thompson

Justin Peyton has been appointed to the newly created role of chief strategy and transformation officer at Wunderman Thompson. He moves from Digitas where was chief strategy and transformation officer.

Peyton follows his former boss Anette Male who was previously CEO of Digitas Asia-Pacific. He will report to Male who is currently the CEO at Wunderman Thompson Asia Pacific.

Wunderman Thompson, a WPP company, announced today that Justin Peyton has been appointed as Chief Strategy & Transformation Officer APAC, reporting to Wunderman Thompson APAC CEO Annette Male.

“In this newly-created regional role Justin will help drive Wunderman Thompson APAC’s next phase of growth. He brings expertise in the strategy and change that modern brands are seeking as they define their futures. Justin’s proven ability to connect data, tech and creativity and deliver customer-centric and business solutions, makes him the perfect choice in Wunderman Thompson’s quest to inspire growth for ambitious brands,” commented Male, who joined Wunderman Thompson as APAC CEO in March 2019.

With over 20 years’ multi-disciplinary experience, Justin’s career spans finance, media, data-driven marketing, and digital transformation. This has all been driven by his entrepreneurial and intrapreneurial spirit. He is driven to build businesses around consumer expectations and help brands innovate as they build the future.

Justin joins Wunderman Thomson from Digitas where he is currently Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer for APAC. Since arriving in Singapore six years ago, he has helped to launch the agency brand in five markets across the region, and to rapidly scale the business through strategy-driven new business wins such as Qantas in Australia, Samsung in Singapore, and Shangri-La in Hong Kong to name just a few.

Prior to his time in APAC, Justin led the Financial Service practice for DigitasLBi in London, where he helped brands such as Lloyds Banking Group, Barclays and RBS adopt a customer-centric lens to their businesses and start on their digital transformation journeys.

Justin is a regular speaker at conferences and events, his opinions and thought leadership are sought after and regularly published in the marketing trade press. He is also on the board of directors of the IAB (Interactive Advertising Bureau) SEA and India where he works with his industry peers to drive a digital growth agenda including the promotion of fair practices for brands, agencies and publishers.
