Ken Lingan leaves Google to join Publicis Groupe Philippines

Ken Lingan has moved from Google to join Publicis Groupe Philippines as CEO. Lingan was most recently country manager at Google and has previously worked for Unilever in the South East Asia and Middle East regions.

Publicis Groupe has announced that Ken Lingan, joins as CEO of Publicis Groupe Philippines. Ken joins Publicis Groupe from Google Philippines where he was Country Manager. He will start in July 2019 and will report directly to Raymond Arrastia, chairman of Publicis Groupe Philippines.

“I am very happy to have Ken joining our Leadership Team in the Philippines,” Nicolas Menat, CEO of Publicis Groupe North Asia and South East Asia, said. “With this major appointment, we continue to accelerate, lead the change, in this very important market in South East Asia. Ken has been leading Google’s initiatives in the Philippines in the past 4 years looking over the growth of Google’s online advertising business in various sectors. He has more than 16 years of experience in marketing and brand development that included senior management positions in Unilever Southeast Asia and the Gulf Region.

“I am very much impressed by Publicis Groupe’s business transformation and organizational structure which has enabled the company to put its clients at the center and to facilitate access to all its services in a seamless and integrated approach,” Ken said.  “My learnings at Unilever and, more recently, at Google, show that clients want integration as they face the risk of market fragmentation today.”
