Publicis Media India consolidates performance marketing under Performics

Publicis Media in India combined its Convonix and Resultrix practices under the Performics brand to create what the agency claims is India’s largest performance marketing offering. Additionally, Publicis Media announced an expanded mandate for Zenith India group CEO Tanmay Mohanty who will now also be head of global partnerships for India.

Pallav Jain and Sarfaraz Khimani will be the co-CEOs of Performics India. This marks the end of a complex structure where Starcom in India was supported Performics.Convonix and Zenith was supported by Performics.Resultrix. Mayoori Kango who was formerly managing director of Performics left the company this March to join Google as head of industry agency partnership.

Publicis Media India today announced the alignment of Convonix and Resultrix under the Performics brand.

This firmly establishes Performics as the largest performance marketing offering in the country by far and is in line with Publicis Media’s market-leading presence and ambitions in the areas of digital marketing, data, tech and analytics.

Pallav Jain & Sarfaraz Khimani will serve as Co-CEO’s of Performics India and will report into the Publicis Media India CEO Anupriya Acharya.

The united Performics offering will keep a razor-sharp focus on product, innovation and will incubate and build sectoral/segmental expertise and knowledge. It will drive best-in-class data-driven digital solutions at the intersection of marketing technologies, data science and media. Underpinned by this leading capability, Convonix and Resultrix will continue to harness their strong referral power, exceptional work and recognition in the Indian market.

Publicis Media has also announced a new Head of Global Partnerships role for India. Tanmay Mohanty will take over this new role in addition to his current role of Zenith India Group CEO. In this role Tanmay will bring in a more strategic and holistic approach to global partnerships in India and ensure greater Groupe and client connectivity with partners such as Google, Facebook, Adobe and Microsoft amongst others.
