Amplifi builds senior innovations team

Amplifi has made two senior appointments as the agency signalled its intention to step up its innovations and partnerships credentials.

Following the successful partnership launch of Dentsu Aegis Network’s Amplifi with USHOPAL, Amplifi is pleased to announce the appointment of Masaki Iwata as SVP – Innovation and Partnerships, and Yifei Wang as Innovation Director.

Part of Amplifi’s innovation investment strategy, these appointments ensure that Amplifi continues to create ground-breaking, first-mover opportunities for our clients, and deliver these through strategic collaborations.

Iwata, formely VP – New Business Development for the Isobar China Group, will be tasked with creating new strategic collaborations, designing and implementing new innovative solutions, and driving the development of new products and thought leadership for global media and technology partnerships.

With over 20 years experience in digital marketing communications, Iwata brings a wealth of experience from across the Asia-Pacific region, specifically in the realm of blue chip clients.

Most recently, he played an instrumental role in securing Amplifi’s partnership with USHOPAL, China’s groundbreaking new luxury, new branding, omni-channel sales distribution and brand management group.

Wang, formerly on secondment with Dentsu Inc. as Senior Manager for Beijing Dentsu’s CEO Office, brings a wealth of international strategic insight and execution to the team.

In his new role as Innovation Director, Wang will spearhead the engagement, development and incubation of marcom and martech startups, allowing Amplifi to deliver more first-mover opportunities while enhancing our suite of innovative offerings for our clients.
