Nike taps into 10-year-old’s footballing dream in FIFA World Cup campaign

Nike has unveiled its latest campaign to coincide with the women’s FIFA World Cup which begins in France tomorrow.

The ‘Dream Further’ marketing push, which features a three-minute film, is designed to “honor and celebrate female footballers across the globe”, Nike said.

It features an array of women footballers from different nationalities, along with players from the men’s game.

The ad, which carries the slogan ‘Don’t change your dream. Change the world’, is shot from the perspective of a 10-year-old girl from California, Makena Cooke, and explores her ambitions to become a footballer.
