Andreas Vogiatzakis moves from Havas Media Malaysia to Star Media Group as CEO

Andreas Vogiatzakis has left Havas Media Group Malaysia where he was CEO to take on the role of group CEO at Star Media Group Bhd.

He will start his new role next month. A veteran of the media scene in Asia, with over two decades of experience in the region, Vogiatzakis’s first moved to Tokyo in 1997 with DMB&B.

He launched and then ran MediaVest Japan which was later merged with Starcom.  He has subsequently worked with Mindshare in Taiwan and OMG in Malaysia before moving to Havas Media as CEO in 2016.

Addressing Vogiatzakis exit, Havas Group South East Asia and India chairman and CEO Vishnu Mohan said: “Andreas has made an invaluable contribution to the growth of the Havas Media brand in Malaysia.

“Under his leadership over the last three years, the agency has grown leveraging a strong client base and received multiple industry recognition. We wish Andreas the very best with his next chapter.”

Vogiatzakis added: “It has been a privilege to work with Havas Group over the last three years and I am grateful to the network and Vishnu for giving me the opportunity to build Havas Media in Malaysia. I wish Vishnu and the team at Havas Group the very best.”
