Gayatri Yadav moves on from Star India

Star India president of consumer strategy and innovation Gayatri Yadav will be leaving the network, one of India’s leading media conglomerates.

A spokesperson from the organisation confirmed the news and said: “Gayatri, who has had a long and fruitful association with Star India, is moving on. We wish her all the best in her new venture.”

Yadav has been with Star, one of the leading media houses in the country for over eight years and has played a pivotal role in shaping the marketing function at the network.

Among the notable work from the network created on her watch were ‘Nayi Soch’ [New Thinking] for its flagship Star Plus channel which made a case for gender equality and several campaigns for Star Sports including ‘Mauka Mauka’ [Opportunity] for the ICC cricket world cup in 2015.

Yadav had previously worked for General Mills and Procter & Gamble.
