Lion & Lion appoints new MDs for Singapore and Indonesia

Steven Ghoos has been given the mandate of managing director at digital agency Lion & Lion’s Singapore office. He moves from the agency’s Jakarta office – its second largest operation after Singapore – where he was MD. 

The new managing director at Lion & Lion Jakarta is John Campbell-Bruce who moves from Australian agency JimJam Ideas where he was group business director. 

The announcement: 

Digital Marketing Agency Lion & Lion welcomes new Managing Director John Campbell-Bruce to the Jakarta office to drive Lion & Lion’s second-biggest market. He replaces Steven Ghoos who will be leading Lion & Lion’s business in Singapore as the new Managing Director.

Fredrik Gumpel, Chief Executive Officer at Lion & Lion, states, “With the recent management changes in Indonesia and Singapore, we further strengthen our position and capability to help our clients with strategic and impactful marketing, as well as building an organisation that is driven and motivated by helping businesses grow.” 

John’s digital marketing expertise and experience will be vital in driving the business and market further. The Indonesian market offers huge potential, and I am confident John will contribute and deliver great value to the business,” he adds. 

 

About Steven’s move to Singapore, Fredrik continues, “Over the past year, Steven has successfully grown the Indonesian team and business, and as the Managing Director for our business in Singapore, he will ensure we keep a clear focus and continue to deliver strategic and impactful marketing as a trusted partner”.

John brings with him strong experience in digital marketing strategy and delivery from large multinationals to smaller independent agencies. He formed his career in Australia, working with brands such as American Express, Microsoft, Diageo and Unilever with agencies covering digital, media publishing and traditional through Razorfish, the white agency, Ogilvy, Droga5, Innocean and Yahoo!.
