Spotify’s APAC head of automation and data, Dan Robins, departs

Spotify’s Asia-Pacific head of automation and data, Dan Robins, has left the streaming company, Mumbrella can reveal.

Mumbrella understands the role was made redundant while Robins was on parental leave. Robins was OMD Australia’s head of interactive before moving to Spotify in May 2017 as ANZ head of programmatic and data in May 2017. After eight months in the role, he was promoted to the APAC role.

He has also spent time at Carat as head of search. Spotify and Robins were unable to comment further on the departure.
