Go-Jek makes changes to regional marketing and hires former-Unilever marketer as group CMO
Indonesian ride-hailing brand Go-Jek has made several senior level marketing changes.
This includes the appointment of Ainul Yaqin as group chief marketing officer. Yaqin moves after nearly a decade with Unilever. He was most recently vice president of strategic transformation for South East Asia and Australasia. He will shift from Singapore to Jakarta in his new assignment. Jasper Distel has been promoted to group head of international marketing. Distel was most recently the senior vice president of integrated media lab and sponsorship. His previous experience includes working for Uber as senior regional marketing manager for Asia-Pacific and roles at Carat in Amsterdam and Singapore.
Go-Jek’s head of marketing for Singapore Archishman Ramasubramanian is now the head of international brand marketing. Ramasubramanian had joined last year and has previous experience with Uber and P&G.
“A spokesperson for SIA said: “The initial creative concept was proposed by TBWA, but it was subsequently co-developed as a team.”
