Jennie Morris joins Publicis Singapore as CCO

Jennie Morris has joined Publicis Singapore as chief creative officer. According to her LinkedIn profile, her last job was creative director at TBWA\ Singapore. Morris has previously worked for SapientNitro, Saatchi & Saatchi and Impact BBDO. 

Morris will partner Publicis Singapore managing director Joanne Theseira. According to a note from Publicis: “In 2007, Jennie made a mark in the industry’s history by taking the title of the first female Executive Creative Director in the United Arab Emirates. 

“There, she led the Emirates Airlines business as the global creative lead during the much lauded and awarded ‘Fly Emirates. Keep Discovering’ campaign years.” 

Morris moved to Singapore nine years ago. Speaking about her appointment, Publicis Communications Singapore CEO Lou Dela Pena said: “Being creative is all about problem solving. Her work shows brilliance in finding simple answers to complex business challenges. 

“She will be instrumental, together with Joanne, who has been driving business growth, in bringing the agency’s creative offering to the next level.” 

Morris said: “It’s an exciting time to join the Publicis Singapore team and I very much look forward to working closely with Ajay to build an agency environment where our brightest creative talent can thrive.” 

Publicis chief creative officer on global clients Ajay Vikram said: “Our ambition is to assemble the best creative talent possible under one roof. Jennie not only has one of the sharpest minds in the business, but the one crucial trait that most inspires creative achievement. She leads by example.”
