StarHub calls for media pitch – invites incumbent Carat

Singapore-based telco StarHub has called for a media pitch. The pitch announcement comes three years after it first appointed Carat as its media agency, ending a seven year relationship with Mindshare

A spokesperson for StarHub said: “StarHub is running a media pitch to appoint the best media agency partner as we continue our business transformation. We have invited our current media agency partner Carat to pitch.” The winner was announced after a five month review process, the last time around.

The company has seen many changes in its marketing department in the last few months with the exit of Mei Cheong as vice president of brand and marketing communication after less than six months with the brand.

Her departure was preceded by the departure of Rod Strother from the same role after seven months; Strother had previously spent three years with Starhub as vice president of digital experience and digital transformation.
