The announcement:

Jeroen Fermie has joined Golin Hong Kong as Executive Director overseeing the agency’s corporate reputation business. Jeroen was previously based in Hanoi as General Manager, Vietnam for MSLGROUP.

A veteran of the communications industry, Jeroen will steer the Golin Hong Kong corporate practice with a focus on bringing to life the agency’s Progressive PR position.

Reporting to Jane Morgan, Managing Director, Jeroen’s experience in Europe and Asia includes senior roles at multiple global PR agencies where he has led corporate reputation, change management and internal communications, and crisis teams across a range of sectors covering financial services, logistics and technology, F&B and FMCG.

“Jeroen is a strong addition to the leadership team in terms of technical capability; his experience allows him to quickly draw conclusions and be that strategic guide our clients need. Equally as important is personality; he fits right into the Golin culture of being driven and curious but with his people at the heart.

“Jeroen’s appointment, combined with our new set of proprietary data tools, means we have a refreshed Corporate Reputation offer in Hong Kong and I’m excited to see what next year brings.

“Golin Hong Kong is a dynamic agency that injects progressive creativity into its proven PR and corporate communications strategy,” said Jeroen. “I’m excited to lead the team in further bolstering the Hong Kong office as a local and regional hub with a strong record of driving impact for businesses.”
