Indian condom brand Manforce and ADK-Fortune address ‘revenge porn’ in new film

India’s leading condom brand Manforce has launched the third edition of its ongoing ‘Shut The Phone Up’ campaign which focuses on the dangers of filming intimate moments. Created by ADK Fortune, The plot this time around addresses revenge porn, with a woman being blackmailed by an ex.

Speaking about the campaign, Mankind Pharma CEO  Rajeev Juneja said: “As a responsible brand, we take pride in sensitising couples about safe sex. This time we have a strong message to those who trust their partners blindly and later fall prey to their blackmailing.

“And how they can save themselves from further victimisation by taking help from the right authority.”

ADK-Fortune managing partner Subroto Pradhan said: “People don’t know that there are laws to safeguard their rights, and hence many sex crime cases go unreported.

When (former national creative director) Akashneel Dasgupta came up with this brilliant idea, we were clear that we wanted to spread this awareness through the courage and belief of one such victim.”

Previous ads from the campaign have addressed issues like a phone with intimate footage being stolen and a couple blackmailed by a man who gets access to footage in spite of the device being formatted.
