Callum Bir is new APAC head of Double Helix

Deloitte’s Callum Bir has been appointed as Asia Pacific head of McCann Health’s consulting business Double Helix.

The announcement:

Singapore, April 30, 2013– Double Helix Consulting, a McCann Health company specialising in strategic market access consulting to the pharmaceutical and medical device industries, announced that it has appointed Callum Bir to lead its Asia Pacific consulting business based out of Singapore.

Callum Bir was most recently head of Deloitte Consulting South East Asia Life Sciences and Healthcare practice, and his appointment signals the advancement by both Double Helix and McCann Health to become the market leading provider of strategic consulting to the healthcare and life sciences sectors within Asia Pacific.

Bir has a total of 18 years’ experience in business consulting spanning markets from Australia, China, India, Japan and South East Asia with governments, healthcare providers, payers and CROs, as well as pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers. His appointment as Double Helix’s first Head of Consulting in Asia Pacific will not only help enhance its core strategic market access consulting service but also launch its strategy consulting services to life sciences and healthcare clients.
