Aegis Media China’s investment chief Lisa Wei handed expanded role

Aegis Media China’s chief investment officer Lisa Wei has been expanded to cover off- and online media.

Lisa WeiShanghai: Michelle Lau, CEO of Media Group, Aegis Media China, has announced today the expanded role of Lisa Wei, Chief Investment Officer of Aegis Media China, to cover both offline and online media.

Since joining Aegis Media China as Chief Investment Officer in May 2011, Lisa has been covering the media for TV, Radio and Print. Effective from May 1, Lisa will also cover digital media and lead the Digital Trading Team. The new role will focus on driving the synergy of offline and online media investment especially for multi-screen communications – the upward trend. Meg Chen, Executive Vice President of Digital  Investment Management, will report to her.

Placing key senior talent like Lisa to lead the digital team is to drive incremental value and provide better investment solutions for our clients.” Michelle commented.

With over 26 years’ experience in 4A companies, including 18 years in China and 8 years in Taiwan, Lisa is one of the most reputable veterans in Greater China’s media industry. Her solid and comprehensive experience includes client business development, negotiation, trading operations and tactical planning leadership.
