DDB retains HIRA account in Korea

Ad agency DDB has reported holding on to a key account in Korea – the Health Insurance Review & Assessment Service.

The agency claims to have won the account after a pitch involving local agencies Daehong and Joongang UMS.

The announcement:

DDB Group Korea has retained the agency-of-record business for the Health Insurance Review & Assessment Service (HIRA) after a competitive pitch against local agencies Daehong and Joongang UMS.

DDB Group Korea will develop all TVC, Radio CM, OOH Print and Online campaigns for the brand’s main organisation services, hospital assessment information, medical expenses confirmation application services, national health systems, and specialist hospitals.

Kevin Koh, CEO of DDB Group Korea said, “As a national government organisation, HIRA holds a competitive pitch for a new advertising agency every year. To appoint the same agency two years in a row is a very rare occurrence.

HIRA is dedicated to improving the quality of national medical treatment and facilities by providing propriety assurance as the government organisation of Ministry of Health and welfare that assesses the medical costs for hospitals and pharmacies.
