Thai telco fits wi-fi hotspot devices to dogs
Thai telco Dtac has fitted dogs with wi-fi devices so that the people of Bangkok can enjoy free internet connections on the move.
Dogs wearing coats with hotspot devices around their necks were led around the busy areas of the Thai capital, where there was demand for their services.
The agency behind the campaign, which was designed to generate word-of-mouth and gain new subscribers, was ad hotshop Creative Juice Bangkok.
“It’s not just a hotspot with a WiFi signal anymore, it’s a new kind of hotspot that users can play and interact with,” a press release read.
