Malaysia Airlines thanks XM for five years of service as account moves to Upfront Media

Malaysia Airlines logoJWT-aligned digital agency XM has issued a statement following the loss of key client Malaysia Airlines, which has moved to Upfront Media.

The announcement from XM:

MALAYSIA, June 11, 2013 – After 5 years of working together, XM and Malaysia Airlines have announced a parting of ways.

Khairul Syahar, Head, Advertising & Promotions, of Malaysia Airlines, was appreciative of XM efforts. XM was a very strategic partner for Malaysia Airlines over the past five years and we are grateful for their support,” he said. “They were integral to the building of the website foundation and helping to grow our digital presence, for which we are grateful.”

“It’s been a quite a journey and we feel privilege to have played a part in the role to develop a foundation for which MAS and future partner agencies could build on. A promise we made good on. We have enjoyed an incredible relationship with Malaysia Airlines over the years and produced numerous initiatives that we are very proud of”, said Rueben Anthony, General Manager of XM Malaysia.
