Indonesia’s newest ad agency appoints Rajiv R. Menon as chief creative officer

The latest addition to Indonesia’s ad agency scene has appointed a chief creative officer.

Jakarta-based The Thinking Machine, which launched at the start of this month, has brought in former Lowe, DraftFCB and Bates CHI & Partners creative director Rajiv R. Menon to lead the creative department.

Menon will report to Radju Munusamy, president director of The Thinking Machine.

Menon has worked at Bates subsidiary 141 Sercon, DraftFCB and spent a seven-year stint at Lowe India, where he was creative director.

Menon said in a press release: “As CCO, I’m looking forward to elevating the agency’s expertise to push the boundaries of innovative solutions that we offer, energize the brand connections we make and empower their always-on consumers. I look forward to showcasing how The Thinking Machine can help clients in Indonesia and the region to boost their creativity and customer engagements.”

The Thinking Machine launched on 1 August, offering above and below-the line advertising, digital and mobile, social media, performance analytics and content.
