Nick Fawbert joins Brand New Media as Asia MD

Nick FawbertNick Fawbert, who left MediaCorp after a six-month stint earlier this month, has joined Brand New Media as Asia MD, a new role at the digital content agency.

Based in Singapore, he will report to Damien Bray, who heads up the international division. Brand New Media’s CEO, Perry Smith, is based in Australia.

Fawbert was head of digital enterprise at MediaCorp, and before that ran his own digital consultancy The Third Space.

He said: “If the first decade of this century was the age of platforms – Facebook, Twitter and Google – then this decade will be the age of content. In just a couple of years in Asia, the BNM team have already changed the way that major brands like FairPrice and the Health Promotion Board look at their audience engagement.”

“We’ll be working with brands, broadcasters, publishers, and some of the greatest creative minds in the region to help drive the industry forward. It’s great to play a part in such a thriving community,” he said.

Brand New Media creates digital content for brands and broadcasters. The company has offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Singapore, LA, Hamburg and Toronto.
