Mindshare restructures for Asia-based brands

Mindshare, the region’s largest media agency by billings, has revamped its emerging markets offering for advertisers that use Singapore and other Asian markets as a central hub.

Called Growth and Emerging Market Solutions, or GEMS for short, the new offering will be run by 15-year Mindshare veteran Deepika Nikhilender as CEO.

Nikhilender will report to R Gowthman, recently appointed COO for Mindshare APAC.

Ashutosh Srivastava, chairman and CEO for APAC and growth markets at Mindshare, said: “We are going to run GEMS like a start up – data and tech driven, fast and flexible, provocative and founded on collaboration, with ability to dial up and down for clients without tying up massive resource for clients.”
