Host Singapore lands first win of 2014 – BiC Lighters and Pens

The Singapore office of Host has recorded its first new business win of 2014, taking on regional advertising duties for BiC Lighters and Pens.

The win is the first since the Australian agency, which opened in the city-state in January 2013, moved its Singapore team into the offices of Havas Worldwide, its Havas sibling, at the start of this year.

It is also the first since Host Singapore hired Greg Rawson and Ross Fowler as creative directors, replacing founding ECD Noah Regan who left in January.

BiC adds to a client list in Singapore that includes Coke, Tourism Western Australia, Unilever, SMRT, WingTai, Paypal and Google.

“Host has shown enthusiasm in understanding our target markets and our products – we’re looking forward to working with them,” said Arthur Law, marketing director for Asia, BiC Product Asia.

“BiC has huge potential for growth in this part of the world. This is a great opportunity for both client and agency” said Dan Gibson, who took on a dual leadership role running Host and Havas Worldwide Singapore in December last year.
