Singapore Airlines is next headline sponsor of Singapore Grand Prix

Singapore Airlines is to succeed SingTel as the title sponsor of the Singapore Grand Prix, it has emerged today.

Clues of the airline’s involvement in the race have been emerging in social media this week, with the company tweeting images and videos using the line, ‘We’re ready to light up the night’.

SIA posterSIA has also taken on ads in local newspapers, starting today.

The company announced on Twitter that it is to make an announcement at 10.30am this morning.

SingTel has been the title sponsor since the inaugural race in 2008.

Singapore Airlines’ advertising agency is TBWA and its newly appointed social media agency is Dentsu Mobius, which won the account in December.
