Ogilvy Mumbai named top effectiveness agency at AMES, BBDO is most awarded network

Ogilvy & Mather Mumbai was named effectiveness agency of the year at the Asian Marketing Effectiveness and Strategy Awards in Singapore last night.

The same agency was also named media strategy agency of the year, while digital strategy agency of the year went to Clemenger BBDO Melbourne. BBDO was the most awarded network overall for the third year in a row.

Top platinum awards were given in the effectiveness, media strategy and data and analytics categories, but not for digital strategy.

The top entry in the effectiveness category went to Lowe Lintas and Partners, India, for ‘Help a Child Reach 5’ for Unilever, which claimed platinum.

Ogilvy & Mather Mumbai won platinum award in the media strategy category with ‘Lifebuoy Roti Reminder’ for Lifebuoy Soaps, Hindustan Unilever.

Platinum in the data and analytics category went to DDB Japan with ‘Product Preference Marketing’ for McDonald’s Japan.

There was no platinum awarded for digital strategy, but Australia took home two golds and New Zealand four golds in this category.
