Mindshare hires Starcom’s P&G account lead Helen Tan-Bhasin to run Unilever business

Media agency Mindshare has hired Helen Tan-Bhasin, a senior business manager running the Procter & Gamble business for Starcom, to lead its Unilever account across the region.

Tan-Bhasin has 13 years experience working across Starcom’s Manila and Singapore offices, and has led the agency’s Procter & Gamble account across the skincare, fabric and homecare categories. She joins as Unilever account lead for APAC, Africa and Turkey. 

She will report to Sudipto Roy, Mindshare APAC’s chief client officer, who said that Tan-Bhasin will be joining the agency at a time “when products are being transformed, data consolidated and technology capability is at the forefront.”

He said: “It is opportune for her to bring her experience to us as we script roadmaps for the next two years. Helen represents a rare combination of intimate FMCG marketing knowledge, key market exposure in addition to experience at the forefront of cutting edge work with marketing organizations similar to Unilever. We look forward to her leadership.”

In her career, Tan-Bhasin has also worked on the BlackBerry and Mead Johnson accounts.
