Mumbrella hangout with Outbrain on content marketing
Mumbrella held a video hangout with one of the founders of Outbrain today to discuss the nature of content marketing, what works and what doesn’t and the ROI of content discovery platforms.
The co-founder of the content discovery platform Yaron Galai was joined by Australia and New Zealand managing director Ayal Steiner.
Content marketing has become an increasingly important part of the mix for many marketers around the world, but one problem has always been drawing as many eyeballs as possible to the product.
New York based Galai, the CEO of Outbrain, started the company in 2006, as his previous business Quigo, a performance based marketing platform, was being acquired by AOL.
He was also a co-founder of Ad4ever which developed rich media advertising technologies, and was acquired by Atlas in 2000. Galai is also a reservist Major in the Israel Navy.
Steiner launched Outbrain in Australia in 2012, partnering with many of the biggest publishers in the country to help spread content.
