Dentsu Aegis Network has announced its management line-up in China, and is moving all of its staff into the same building in the Xintiandi area of Shanghai in the wake of the merger between Dentsu and Aegis.

Motohiro Yamagishi, the former boss of Dentsu North Asia, has been named CEO Dentsu Aegis Network China. Phil Teeman, previously CEO of Aegis Media China, is now the agency’s group MD. KF Lee will remain Chairwoman. Nubuaki Kyushima is COO, replacing Kym Pfitzner, who moved to Australia to run the network’s Australasian operation in May.

The move comes 11 months after the group announced that all of Dentsu Aegis Network’s brands, which include Carat, Dentsu, iProspect, Isobar, Posterscope and Vizeum, will report into a single P&L in each country.

Nick Waters, CEO Dentsu Aegis Network Asia Pacific said: “The new Dentsu Aegis management structure in China represents the best in international and Chinese market experience. These changes form a balanced, strong and experienced team, well equipped to drive one of Dentsu Aegis Network’s largest businesses in the world.”

Motohiro Yamagishi, CEO Dentsu Aegis Network China, added: “There are many opportunities with a business of over 4,000 people and with the right management in place we can drive the company forward and grow the business even further. I look forward to seeing more collaboration across the brands and to becoming one Dentsu Aegis Network here in China.”

Aegis Media and Dentsu merged in March 2013.
