LinkedIn reveals most viewed profiles in Singapore’s ad and marketing community
LinkedIn has revealed a list of the most popular profile pages in the advertising and marketing community in Singapore.

Starwood’s Janice Chan
Loren I. Shuster, chief commercial officer for Lego, Andrew Knott, vice president of digital and media for McDonald’s, Renaud Besnard, Google’s head of marketing for Southeast Asia, and Frederique Covington, international head of marketing for Twitter are on the list of the most viewed profiles in Singapore’s adland.
WPP’s Scott Spirit, Standard Chartered head of digital marketing Damien Cummings, Mindshare APAC head of digital Sanchit Sanga and the newly appointed director of marketing for the World Federation of Advertisers, Samsung’s Ranji David are also what LinkedIn refers to as “power profiles” because they generate so much interest.

Ranji David
Nicholas Kontopoulos, global head of fast growth markets and marketing innovation for SAP, Dean Reinhard, who recently moved from Leo Burnett to Iris as creative technology director for APAC and Avtar Ram Singh, senior manager, social media and content, Publicis are also on a list of the 14 most-viewed profiles in Singapore.
Chris Prasojo, regional manager at Amazon, and Vivek Kumar director and executive head, NTUC Membership and U Associate, also feature.
The profile of the head of marketing for Starwood Hotels, Janice Chan, is the most fully completed, listing ten events at which she’d spoken as well as an award before her experience section.
LinkedIn would not share a ranking of the executives nor would the company share any viewing data.
Sandeep Suvarna, head of consumer marketing, Asia Pacific for LinkedIn, said in a press release that an online professional brand is “just as vital for the business that the individual represents.”
“LinkedIn Power Profiles are experts in their domains, who have invested in building their professional identities by sharing their knowledge and inspiring professionals around them, making them the most viewed profiles in Singapore,” he said.
Congrats to all the marketing LinkedIn Power Profiles – for some reason I’m in the internet section nicely alongside Google, Twitter, ArBnB and facebook – congrats to all in all categories
ReplyYou have to be seriously bored (or a recruiter) to get off on reading linkedin profiles.
ReplyOr be up at 3am instead of sleeping. Bet you work in gan agency!
ReplyThose (not all) are also the biggest self-promoters in the business. If we all had time to ask for endorsements from every contact or moved jobs every year, we all might climb the list. Too bad some of us are busy doing brilliant work to build our business instead of looking for our next gig.
