BBH hires photographer Aik Beng Chia to bring ‘depth and emotion to our work that’s often missing in adland’

Ad agency BBH has hired Singaporean street photographer Aik Beng Chia to join its creative department.
Chia, whose work is followed by more than 20,000 fans on Instagram, joins BBH not only as a photographer, but for his overall creative input on client briefs.
Chia has grown to prominence through his initiatives such as the live ‘Singkarpor‘ curated photos series. His most recent work ‘Gentlewomen’ in Esquire Singapore Magazine featured women from a Teochew Opera Troupe.
BBH’s APAC ECD Scott Mcclelland said: “I’ve been a big fan of ABC’s work from his character days as PixelMunky to his wonderful street photography. He has an interesting and unique way of seeing the world and his images are already bringing a depth and emotion to our work that is often missing in adland.”
