Microsoft names Jolaine Boyd as new Singapore-based chief marketing officer

BoydMicrosoft has named its new chief marketing officer for Asia Pacific as Jolaine Boyd.

Boyd, who will be based in Singapore, was previously APAC head of marketing for Microsoft Mobile Devices.

Prior to that she led the marketing for Microsoft Mobile Devices in Indonesia following a three and a half year career at Nokia, which Microsoft acquired in 2014.

Microsoft said in a statement that Boyd will be responsible for “telling Microsoft’s customer story in compelling and immersive ways across all marketing platforms”.

She will also be responsible for providing customers with “best-in-class content and tools that are designed for the digital era”.

“The Asia Pacific region has some of the most dynamic markets in the world which is transforming the way we do marketing, especially in this mobile-first, cloud-first world,” Boyd said. “I look forward to helping people and businesses here unlock their potential and achieve more with the right tools.”

Prior to Nokia and Microsoft, Boyd led the digital marketing and channels team at Telstra and spent a year as account director at DDB.
