Bollywood heartthrob beats up thugs in ad to show the toughness of luggage brand VIP

Bollywood heartthrob Hrithik Roshan stars in a new campaign for Indian luggage brand VIP in which the actor violently fends off his attackers with the help of VIP’s new range of strolleys.

For the campaign, which introduces the slogan ‘When you are very important’, agency Whyness used the stunt director behind James Bond film Spectre and Fast & Furious 6 for the fight sequence.

An extended version of the Prague-located film, running at two minutes and 45 seconds, is to run in social media.

Roshan, who is the new brand ambassador for VIP, said in a press release that this was one of the toughest action scenes that he has ever performed “with a unique prop like a VIP strolley.”

Radhika Piramal, the MD of V.I.P Industries said the campaign offered consumers “another reason to continue to associate with brand VIP,” which was founded four decades ago, “as the campaign tag line says “When you are very important”.
