Change of CMO at Manulife Malaysia as Kenny Thing exits



Kenny Thing, the chief marketing officer of Manulife Malaysia, has moved on from the company after more than two and a half years in the job.

He leaves to take a sabbatical, and told Mumbrella that his next move is likely to be in the startup world.

Coming in to replace him is Gho Han Jaa. She has been with the company for five years, first as head of marketing actuarial, and two years later Gho to pricing officer, a role she will retain along with her CMO duties.

Before taking on the CMO role at Manulife in July 2013, Thing worked in business development for the company in Hong Kong. He has worked for other insurers in his career including Swiss Re, ING and Aviva.
